Single, Nearly Single and Semi-Double Flowered Roses

Single roses, as defined by the American Rose Society, have between four and eight petals, while semi-double roses have nine to sixteen petals, double rose blooms have 17 – 25 petals, full rose blossoms have 26 – 40 petals and very full rose blooms have 41 or more petals.
