The Treasurer is part of the Deep South District Board and manages the funds of the DSD organization.
One of the duties as treasurer is to collect the local society’s Annual Dues to the DSD. The ARS/DSD By-Laws say that the dues are due by the end of May each year. These annual dues are used to pay the nominal ongoing expenses of the DSD. Local societies with 100 or more members are asked to pay $50/year and those with less than 100 members are asked to pay $25/year. Local Societies are asked to make this deadline if possible.
Payments for these dues, donations and any other payments to the DSD Treasurer may be made electronically via Zelle. There is no fee for using this service. These payments need to be directed to: treasurer@deepsouthdistrict.org
