To be an American Rose Society Accredited Judge is an earned honor that carries with it certain responsibilities. Judging is a privilege that carries with it the responsibility to conduct oneself with objectivity, fairness, courtesy and honor. All ARS Judges are to be commended for their generosity and social responsibility, since all judging is done gratis and any honorariums are at the discretion of the host society. Many judges travel great distances, at their own expense, to provide their services to their fellow Rose Exhibitors.
